The Hikvision DS-2CD2147G2-SU is a 4MP, fixed lens dome camera featuring ColorVu and AcuSense technology and Audio and Strobe Light alarm features.
Hikvision's ColorVu Technology boasts the ability to capture colourful details in low lighting thanks to the combination of advanced lenses and high-performance sensors to utilize the available light. Imaging is also enhanced by 130 dB WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology, this enables the camera to provide clear images against strong and contrasting back-light.
Please note that typically ColorVu cameras use a supplement white LED light instead of Infrared lighting to enhance the scene. However the DS-2CD2147G2-SU does not feature any built-in supplement lighting so it is important to keep this in mind when comparing options for your system. To deter intruders and provide warnings to passers by, the DS-2CD2147G2-SU features a built-in audio alarm and strobe light features. Users can set alarms to be activated using the perimeter protection smart features. Thanks to AcuSense technology the camera uses a deep learning algorithm to detect humans and vehicles, greatly improving the rate in which false alarms are triggered.
Rated IP67 the dome camera can withstand water and dust ingress when mounted correctly. It's also rated IK10 which gives it a Vandal Resistant status, making it a good option for out door or public installations. On-board the DS-2CD2147G2-SU is a built-in microphone which is able to pick up sounds up to 5m away depending on the surrounding environment. Also featured is a memory card slot which can take a MicroSD/SDHC/SDC up to 256GB.
To install the DS-2CD2147G2-SU we strongly recommend powering the camera via PoE (Power Over Ethernet) as only one network cable is required to power the camera, provide network data, and transmit the audio from the built-in microphone. The camera can also be powered by a 12V DC Mains Power Supply Unit if required. Please note that no psu is included with the DS-2CD2147G2-SU, please see our Frequently Brought Together section for our recommended option.
Please note, we strongly recommend that the latest Easy IP 4.0 cameras should be used with the -I series NVR only. Please see our comments on our technical forum for more information.
