The Hikvision DS-2CD2346G2-IU/G is one the newest releases within the G2, AcuSense range. The built-in AcuSense technology uses deep learning algorithms to focus on human or vehicle targeted alarms. The technology has been proven to greatly reduce the occurrence of false alarms that were previously triggered by subjects other than humans or vehicles, such as wildlife, rain, or falling leaves.
This 4 megapixel turret camera is powered by Darkfighter technology and features additional technologies such as 120 dB WDR, BLC and 3D DNR to further improve the image quality during challenging or low light levels.
With a rating of IP66 classing the camera as weatherproof, the DS-2CD2346G2-IU/G is perfectly suitable for external and internal use. The stylish turret design reduces IR reflection and prevents spiders from causing obstructions to the lens.
This model includes a built-in microphone which can record sounds up to 5 meters away (depending on the environment.). With event features such as Motion Detection, Video Tampering Alarm, Line Crossing Detection and Intrusion Detection the bullet camera allows for secure surveillance, even if you are away from the site. You can receive alerts to your smart phone via the HikConnect app, where you can also record and view live footage.
The camera is powered by PoE but can also be powered by 12V DC power supply unit (not supplied). If a PSU is required, please see our Frequently Brought Together section above, for our recommended option.
Finally, the camera also has space for on-board storage via a Micro SD/SDHC/SDXC slot, which can hold up to 256GB. This is ideal for those using the camera as a standalone unit, or those wanting further storage back-up.
Please note, we strongly recommend that the latest Easy IP 4.0 cameras should be used with the -I series NVR only. Please see our comments on our technical forum for more information.
