The Hikvision DS-2CD2H66G2-IZS (C) is a 6 megapixel turret network camera with a motorised, varifocal lens of 2.8mm to 12mm. With a varifocal lens, users have greater flexibility to achieve their required field of view, the DS-2CD2H66G2-IZS (C) will provide a horizontal Field Of View (FOV) of 99° to 35°.
Featuring AcuSense technology, the DS-2CD2H66G2-IZS (C) will focus on humans and vehicles to trigger events and security alerts. AcuSense has been designed to reduce false alarms that are typically triggered by foliage, heavy wind and rain, or wildlife. It uses a deep learning algorithm to focus on human and vehicle targets, greatly improving alarm efficiency and effectiveness.
The DS-2CD2H66G2-IZS (C) is powered by Darkfighter, allowing it to produce excellent, high quality images day and night. In low or zero light levels the turret camera will activate the built-in IR LEDs which can illuminate a scene up to 40 metres. Also, during the day, or times where light scenarios can be particularly contrasting or challenging, the DS-2CD2H66G2-IZS (C) uses 120 dB true WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) to provide crisp, clear images.
On-board the device are multiple features which add to the cameras diversity, including:
- MicroSD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot: The slot enables users to add a memory card to the device for it to record to directly. This can be used in conjunction to rerecording to an NVR or as a standalone option.
- Audio Input and Output Lines: With one audio input and one audio out put, the DS-2CD2H66G2-IZS (C) can be connected to third party audio devices such as network speakers or microphones.
- Alarm Input and Output Lines: Users can connect devices via the alarm input and output lines such as smoke alarms, IR Lights and smoke detectors to add to their security system.
We recommend powering the DS-2CD2H66G2-IZS (C) via POE for ease of installation. POE (Power Over Ethernet) supplies the device with power and data connection, meaning only one network cable is required. Please note that the camera is not sold with a power supply, we have linked our recommended POE Injector in the Frequently Brought Together section above if required.
